The Traveler’s Agreement

This Traveler’s Agreement, (“Agreement”) consisting of the entire contents of this document, is an agreement between you the reader (“you” & “Traveler”) and the Nightside Nexus (“we”, “our”, “The Space”, “the web/site” or “The Nexus”). This Agreement covers your use of the Space and your relationship with the Nexus. The Nightside Nexus provides collaborative digital spaces as well as in person workshops & events created for radical vampyric change-makers and community allies. To keep our spaces healthy, positive, and productive, all of our Travelers vow to abide by our Traveler’s Agreement as outlined. Please read this Traveler’s Agreement in full. When you register for a Traveler’s account with our site, your acceptance of this agreement is implied.

What is a Traveler?

Travelers of the Nexus are registered account holders of the the Nightside Nexus. Travelers are recognized patrons and guests of the Nightside Nexus, allies who grace us with their presence and friendship. They are guests in our midst.

This distinction is made to ensure people understand that true membership to the “Inner Court” is earned and offered by invitation. Travelers can see behind our veil, while recognized & initiated members are dedicated and devoted to our Nexus. There’s a distinct difference and we wanted to make sure that’s seen up front.

 

Expectations

We expect our members to act respectfully towards the other people in the Nexus and to take good care of our Spaces. All registered members must accept and act in accordance with our Covenant.

If someone complains about your behavior, or if we believe that your behavior is unacceptable for any reason, we reserve the right to terminate your connection to the Nightside Nexus immediately.

 

Policies

You are bound by The Nightside Nexus’s policies and procedures as laid out in the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Content Disclaimer, & Traveler’s Agreement. The Nightside Nexus communicates all of these policies to you before and during the registration process. The Nightside Nexus will communicate updates to you from time to time, through various means as well. All such policies and procedures are incorporated into this Agreement by reference. You should ask the Nexus staff if you have any questions about a given policy or procedure. Our Policies are posted on our Website and in other spaces for everyone to see at any time.

 

Purpose

You agree to use the Nightside Nexus’s Spaces only for lawful purposes. You will not use our Spaces for any unlawful purpose, including anything that may damage or interfere with the Spaces or the ability of other people to use the Spaces. You are responsible for using our  Spaces safely, and you agree to waive any claim you may have against the Nexus for injuries you sustain or cause or that are associated with your use of the Spaces.

 

Privacy

You will respect the privacy of the other members and the Nightside Nexus staff. You will not intentionally access any information or systems for which you are not an intended or permitted user. If you gain access to information or systems, through whatever means, which you should reasonably know are private, you will cease such access as quickly as possible, and take reasonable measures to inform the owner of the access.

 

Confidentiality

You may come into contact with the confidential information of other people during your use of the Spaces. Confidential information includes information that is not public, and information that you have reason to know (or should have reason to know) is confidential or proprietary in nature. You agree that you will keep such information confidential and will not disclose it to any other person or use it for any purpose. You agree to return and/or destroy any such information upon the legitimate request of its owner.

 

Authority

When you register for an account and become a recognized Traveler of the Nightside Nexus, you represent that you have the authority to enter into this Agreement, become a Traveler, and use the Spaces and doing so will not infringe on the rights of any third parties. You also acknowledge and agree that you do not have the authority to agree to nor bind the Nightside Nexus or any other member in contract in any way and you will not hold yourself out as having that authority.
